The Colby Trojans Rodeo wrapped up their rodeo season this weekend at the OPSU Rodeo, closing the year with highlight steer wrestling runs from Lakoddah Downes. As the final event of the season concluded, the Trojans finished tied for 15th in the region with Kansas State at 225 points.
Colby’s rodeo team is set to head south for the Oklahoma Panhandle State Rodeo, with competition running April 23–25 at Henry C. Hitch Arena in Guymon, OK. This will be the teams last rodeo of the spring season, with most of the season going under first year head coach Karson Harris.
