Kibet selected as KJCCC runner of the week
The Eldoret, Kenya, freshman finished third overall in the FHSU Tiger Open.

As the top region finisher in the black division race at the Fort Hays State Tiger Open, CCC's Winnie Kibet earned runner of the week honors in the Kansas Junior Community College Conference (KJCCC). She finished third overall with a time of 18:17 while smashing her personal best by 1:15.
Kibet, a freshman from Eldoret, Kenya, led Colby to a third place overall finish in a 26-team field that included seven NJCAA-ranked programs.
The next completion for the Trojan runners is Oct. 29 at the Region VI meet in Hutchinson.
