Meet the Newest Trojans
Catherine Dutton (Willard High School, Mo.)
Dutton made history at Willard High School by becoming the program's first female state champion. In the 235-pound division, she secured the Missouri Class 2 State Championship with an unblemished 37-0 record as a senior. She further cemented her legacy by winning the 16U Girls National Championship at the 2024 U.S. Marine Corps 16U Nationals in Fargo, N.D., and placing third in the Junior division. Dutton's drive and commitment to excellence make her a valuable addition to the Trojans.
Isabella Garrity (Norton Community High School, Kan.)
Garrity wrapped up her high school career as the runner-up in the 125-pound weight class at the Kansas Class 3-2-1A State Championships, narrowly falling to Hoxie's Josie Bell in the finals. Before wrestling in Kansas, Garrity was a two-time state placer in Maryland, finishing fifth in 2024 and fourth in 2023.
Kaylen McAtee (Girard High School, Kan.)
McAtee became Girard High School's first-ever state wrestling champion. She completed an undefeated 39-0 senior season, capping it off by winning the Class 4A 155-pound state title. McAtee also achieved her 100th career victory during the state tournament, highlighted by a dominant 17-second pin in the opening round.
Emma Hahn (Ellinwood High School, Kan.)
Hahn has consistently performed at a high level in the 235-pound division throughout the season, finishing third at the Kansas Class 3-2-1A State Championships as a senior. She joins the Trojans eager to continue her success and further develop her skills at the collegiate level.
Sierra Brown (Yuma High School, Colo.)
Despite being relatively new to wrestling, Brown qualified for the Colorado state wrestling tournament in her first competitive season, finishing with a 1-2 record. Known for her strong work ethic and coachability, she will enter Colby as a sophomore academically due to her academic achievements.
Cristina Palacio-Martinez (Churchill High School, Texas)
Palacio-Martinez competed in Texas' highly competitive wrestling circuit. While she fell short of qualifying for the state tournament, she has dedicated herself to improvement and is determined to be a force at the collegiate level.
