Cross Country Hosts Summer Camp
The Trojan Cross Country program will host a Summer Camp on July 6-10 for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade.
COLBY, Kan. (June 22, 2026) — Colby Community College will host the Trojan Cross Country Summer Camp from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on July 6-10. The camp will be on the college campus and is open to students entering kindergarten through 12th grade.
Led by Colby Community College alumnus and current coach Chayse McCullough, the camp will feature daily coached runs, drills and strides, strength and core training, nutrition education, and a final-day race. Participants will also receive a camp T-shirt.
Campers will have the opportunity to learn from former Trojan standouts, including Emily McCullough, a four-time NCAA Division II All-American, NJCAA national champion, and six-time NJCAA All-American. Also planned is a special Zoom session with Trojan alumnus Sanele Masondo, the 2022 NJCAA Cross Country National Champion, six-time NJCAA national champion, and NCAA Division I First Team All-American.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals interested in supporting youth athletics and helping offset camp expenses. Sponsors assist in providing educational resources, shirts, snacks, awards, and supplies.
