Colby Concludes the regulars season at the Region VI Preview at Cowley

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. - Colby Community College Cross Country Men's and Women's runners competed Saturday morning at the Cowley Region VI Preview Meet in Arkansas City, Kansas. This was the final regular season race for the Trojans as they now prepare for the Region VI Tournament and the NJCAA National Championship. The Region VI Championship will be held on October 25th in Arkansas City. The National Championship will be held in Richmond, Virginia on November 9th, 2024. 

Sophomore Rose Arthur was the lone runner from the women's team placing 6th from a field of 55, with a personal best time of 17:43, on the 5,000-meter course.  

Sibonelo Khumalo was the top men's Trojan runner finishing 2nd overall, out of a field of 85, on the 8,000-meter course with a personal best time of 23:16. Kenan Delstre placed 14^th with a personal best time of 25:06. Matheo Guimene was 16^th running a career best of 25:16, and Dakotah Kotchuck placed 56 with a personal best time of 28:44.
