Western Team Third at Semi-Finals
Advances to Nationals for first time in program history
COLBY, Kan. (March 24, 2025) — The Colby Community College equestrian western squad is heading to the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) National Championships for the first time in school history after placing third at the IHSA Semi-Finals hosted by West Texas A&M on March 14-16.
The Nationals will take place May 2-4 at Tryon International in Mill Spring, N.C.
"All of our individual and team qualifiers had great rides," said Head Coach Jessica Bugbee. "It's so cool to be sitting at the table with some of the most decorated equestrian programs across the country. I truly could not be more proud of our team members."
