Playoff win sends Trojans to Wichita

The Colby Community College baseball team is headed to the NJCAA Region VI Central District playoffs in Wichita after knocking off Coffeyville Community College in the best-of-three opening round series last weekend at Young Memorial Field. The Trojans won the first game 13-1 on Friday, dropped game two 17-14 on Saturday, and closed out the Red Ravens in the night game, 22-12.

Colby, now with a record of 35-20, advances to Wednesday's game with Johnson County Community College, 45-10. The 7 p.m. contest will be streamed live from Eck Stadium on the KJCCC Network.
